His skill at tackling form is so good that once I had modelled a base head,

I found that it was relatively easy to follow his `line` -

I hope I achieved some justice to his drawings.

I wanted to have a couple of characters talking - after editing

suitable sound samples and deciding on the characters,

went about animating an imaginary conversation.

- Worked quite well - great fun.

This project was inspired by the work of the

charicature artist - Jean Mulatier -

I wanted to model a charicature head and came across a book of his drawings

- I admired his work immediately - he captures the likeness and imperfections

of character with a humourous deft touch, revealing a love and of his subject,

yet manages to avoid decending into cruelty.
